Welcome to CUT & CLEAR, a general health, fitness, nutrition, and wellness tracking application developed by Hari TechKey Studio ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the CUT & CLEAR website (https://cutandclear.app), mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

2. Data We Collect

2.1. Account & Profile Information

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. Authentication credentials are securely processed and managed through Supabase Auth. We do not store raw passwords. We also collect relevant profile information if you choose to authenticate via Google Sign-In.

2.2. Health, Fitness, and Wellness Data

To provide our core services, we collect user-submitted wellness data. This data includes body weight, body composition and body metrics, BMI-related information, hydration and water records, calorie and nutrition information (including food logs and custom foods), activity and workout records, sleep records, supplement records, and progress-related health and fitness data. This data is strictly protected via Row Level Security (RLS) in our database.

2.3. User-Generated Content & Social Data

If you use our community features, we collect your display name, profile information, friend relationships/requests, challenge participation, leaderboard status, and any progress content you intentionally share with others.

2.4. Usage & Device Information

When you use our Services, we collect technical and usage information. In the CUT & CLEAR mobile application, we use Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage, and we collect push notification tokens if you enable Firebase Cloud Messaging. On our public website, third-party analytics tools collect standard technical information such as your browser type and operating system. We do not collect Advertising IDs, precise location, or device contacts.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the CUT & CLEAR app functionality.
• Save and sync your user data securely across devices.
• Manage authentication and user accounts.
• Enable social and community features (e.g., friends, challenges, leaderboards).
• Send push notifications regarding your progress and social interactions.
• Analyze usage trends to improve the product via analytics.
• Facilitate account deletion and provide customer support.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on trusted third-party service providers to operate the app's infrastructure. We do not sell your personal data. We share necessary data with these providers solely to facilitate our Services:

• Supabase: Provides our backend database, secure data storage, and authentication services (including Google Sign-In).
• Resend: Supabase Auth uses Resend as an SMTP email delivery provider for transactional emails such as authentication and account-related messages. Information needed to deliver these emails, such as email addresses and message content, may be processed by Resend on our behalf.
• Firebase (Google): Used for Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications) and Firebase Analytics for privacy-preserving app usage analytics.
• Website Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and Microsoft Clarity are used on our public website to optimize user experience.

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our public website uses cookies and local storage to enhance your experience, remember your preferences, and analyze site traffic. You can control your cookie settings through our on-site preferences banner or your browser settings.

6. Security of Your Information

We employ reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal and health data. Authentication is handled securely via Supabase, and data is protected using database Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure it remains private to your account. Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely secure.

7. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain personal and health data while your account is active. When you delete your account, associated personal, health, nutrition, fitness, and social data are deleted, except for limited data that may be retained where necessary for legitimate legal, security, fraud prevention, regulatory, or other lawful purposes, including anonymized or aggregated information that is no longer linked to your identity.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the applicable legal age of consent in their jurisdiction. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will take steps to delete it immediately.
